Hello everyone and thank you for looking at this lovely Airstream camper. Comes with a clear IN title that says year 1969, make ARS, model 21L. Condition is best described as rough. You don"t get to be 50 years old without having a good story and this camper is no exception. First the bad news. I bought a campground last fall that had been closed for a year and the Airstream had been left behind. It sat behind the main building and had been converted into the camp kitchen several years ago. The neighbor lady says it was in the same place for about 20 years on blocks. I jacked it up, put some used tires and wheels on it, and pulled it around front. The wheels both turned fine at 3mph behind a tractor, however I don"t know that would be the same at 65mph behind your pickup. Also, pretty sure there will not be a single light that will work. Same with brakes. I would suggest you bring a trailer to pick this up. Or a toolbox. And a jack. Maybe some spare tires. And a friend. And bail money. Now the good news. If you plan to restore this you can see in the pictures it has been pretty well gutted out so that will save you some work. And you don"t have to get rid of any mice because they already moved out. Same with the snakes. However if you are the kind of person who enjoys an adventure this is perfect for you. By the time you get this home and restored you will have stories to tell your grandkids and everyone at the campground.Everyone will think your the coolest cat there.
