Vehicle description
Exact year unknown, purchased at auction and year guesstimate between ‘67-73. Classic anonized aluminum camper trailer with airplane riveted body just like Airstream. This is a project camper that needs full restoration, but it’ll be a beauty with instant equity when it’s finished! Unknown which systems work, if any. Buyer agrees that item is being offered as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Will be sold with Bill of Sale, no title; please check with your state as many do not require a title for campers this old.
Brief rundown with obvious visual inspection of work needed (I do not imply that this is definite or the only work needed, just a layperson’s perspective): subfloor, possibly throughout (two very soft areas), some new wall paneling/insulation (holes in spots), new glass panels for a couple cracked windows, new bed platforms, rear trunk door missing, door is present but bent around edges and needs work or replacement, some broken/missing outside lights, some small holes/tears in outside aluminum body, a/c unit replaced, etc.
What’s good: it should tow well. . was moved about a year ago from another state and was easy the entire way, has rock guard, original green arctic windows intact and pristine, toilet looks fairly new, water heater is large and looks fairly new, full bathroom (tub/shower combo), has original holding tank, original vintage gold fixtures beside beds, will sleep 4 comfortably with 2 twin beds and sofa sleeper, very spacious, aluminum body was built to last so these guys won’t depreciate in value like a fiberglass side camper.
Thanks for looking!
