Please feel free to ask questions! ABOUT HI-LO TRAILERS WORLDWIDE The Hi-Lo Trailer was a truly iconic American made trailer created in 1956 and ceased operations in 2010. A few years after the original Hi-Lo Trailer ceased production, William Kerola, President of The Kerola Group, a leading Hi-Lo Trailer franchise, saw a unique opportunity. After lengthy negotiations with Hi-Lo owner Jim Snyder, a deal was struck in 2014 for Kerola to acquire the Hi-Lo trademark, designs and intellectual property. The Snyder family began developing telescoping travel trailers in 1956 and many innovative features were developed and pioneered by the Snyder family with the most important being the tried-and-true hydraulic over electric lift system thus coining the name “Hi-Lo.” In addition to the convenience of the telescopic design, independent testing proved that it only takes one gallon of gas to tow a Hi-Lo one hundred miles! Today, Kerola is proud to offer the Hi-Lo brand of small camping trailers designed for people who love to camp. This is evident by the new Wanderer ’18 which combines the iconic Hi-Lo appearance, design and benefit of the telescoping trailer which allows for safer travel, eliminated sway problems and greater fuel efficiency than conventional travel trailers. The Kerola vision is to preserve the history of Hi-Lo trailers, promote a Hi-Lo repair facility and bring new Hi-Lo Trailers to market. You are invited to continue visiting our website as we progress. Please be sure to enjoy the history of past models as told by the brochures that highlighted their production. Happy Camping! William J. Kerola and Family Hi-Lo Trailers Worldwide
