Vehicle description
US Airforce M715 built in 1967 with a 1970 civilian title. Spent at least a portion of its military life in Laughlin AFB in Texas with a pedigree of the 7th Fighter Squadron. 42,662 miles on it. It"s been in storage for 10+ years with a very solid body with very little body repair needed (scratches and shallow dents only). The original engine/transmission is in it and ran when this project started. The original transfer case was removed and will come with a rebuilt np205 twin stick. It sits on dana 60 and corporate 14 bolt axles from a chevy 1 ton with disc brake conversions front and rear. All of the expensive parts are there, but it will need a lot of work to complete this project. No brake lines exist, nor are the calipers mounted. It will need the steering shaft shortened to adapt to the dana 60 front. Comes with new 5/8" U-bots for the axles, but they are not installed. The grill is missing, but it does come with all bumpers (not pictured). Free delivery in the lower peninsula of Michigan, negotiated beyond that.
