1967 Unrestored original Airstream Overlander travel trailer !
We purchased this camper from an elderly man who had lived in it for many years out on a lake. Before he lived in it his mother did . . so this camper was in the family for many years !
When we found it. it was stored inside of a storage building.
It looks like the interior is mostly original. Our intention was to Gut the interior and do a modern renovation on it but we have other restorations we are doing right now and have decided to sell some things in order to get them finished.
This Airstream is really neat ! I think with some TLC and a little Elbow grease someone could make it look much nicer.
At one time the wind caught the door and whipped it open so the door will need to be smoothed out and have some latch work done to it. It also looks like a few of the windows will need to be replaced during restoration. The previous owner had screwed some plexiglass over the openings many years ago to keep the wind and rain out while he was living in it and some screw holes along the window trim may also need some repair at some point.
We crawled under the camper and the belly pan looks intact and the jacks are still there underneath and hoses and lines. We can send more photos to interested buyers but ebay will only allow 24 images.
The interior looks like it will need a deep cleaning and the bathroom floor is soft near the rear window and will probably need some ply wood repair on the floor. We have not tested any of the wiring, plumbing, or anything else on any of the systems so i"m sure they will need cleaning / tinkering as well. The trailer also did get some field mice in it while it was in storage and we have cleaned and vacuumed it out but it will need to be sanitized and cleaned by a professional which shouldn"t be that difficult.
3 of the tires hold air but 1 of them has a slow leak. I would recommend bringing a spare tire or two with rims when you tow it home. It may also not be a bad idea to pop the wheels off and grease the bearings before towing it. The lights have not been tested so it would also be a good idea to bring magnetic lights that attach to the rear of the trailer or repair the lights if needed before towing.

Transportation / shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but we can be available via phone and here in person the day it is loaded for transport if you hire someone to tow it.
