This beautiful 1966 vintage Kencraft travel trailer is a complete restoration. During 2016 and 2017, this little gem went through a complete renovation and remodel. She is a unique custom trailer - and also featured in a new book about vintage trailers - "The Illustrated Field Guide to Vintage Trailers" - as a representative for the iconic retro shape of the Kencraft trailer. (pages 166 and 167) For the restoration, skin was removed - any framing that needed replaced was removed and rebuilt. All windows and exterior doors were removed, cleaned and replaced with new butyl tape. New wall insulation was installed. All new electrical wiring was installed, and new outlets and light switches. New fresh water lines installed throughout. New fresh water tank. New black tank. New drain lines and dump outlets and valves. All exterior seams cleaned and re-sealed. Note: This trailer does not have a gray water tank. During the renovation and remodel, the floorplan in this trailer was re-envisioned. The original rear corner lounge was removed and replaced with a new dinette - including new table and benches. The original front dinette was remodeled to a semi-permanent bed (80" x 53"). The original fold-down table up front is still in place - the bed can be removed and the original front dinette can be returned to it"s original form. In the rear is a small corner bathroom - complete with toilet and shower. This trailer has an Oregon SP license plate. This is a Special Interest plate - it is a permanent plate for special vehicles that does not require annual tags. It will remain valid, while registered in Oregon.
