Silver Streak Trailer Company evolved from the Curtis Wright Company - one of the original aluminum trailer manufacturers. In 1949, the Curtis Wright Co. sold the design rights to Silver Streak partners Kenny Neptune, James “Pat” Patterson, and Frank Polito. In the 1957, Neptune and Polito bought out their partner Patterson. Patterson then founded the Streamline Trailer Mfg. Co.
Silver Streak trailers were originally the very streamline torpedo shape and evolved into this more square design you see here in the 1960s.
The Sabre was the smallest trailer in the line at 17 ft, but very roomy inside with the square wall design.
