Vehicle description

Relive the Sixties in this trailer timemachine! 1965 vintage Shasta travel trailer for sale, affectionately named “BettyLou.” We bought her to go with our 1969 F-250, (truck is NOT for sale). We loveour little trailer, but have outgrown her. No leaks and in good shape. Readyfor camping. Clean California title with a PTI (permanenttrailer identification) plate. Exterior length from tip of tongue to outside edge of rear bumper is 15feet 10 inches long. The exterior box length is 13 feet 4 inches. The exterior box width is 7 feet 2 inches from side to side, at thefront and in the rear. Priorowner had the entire trailer painted, I think in 2015 . There are two propane tanks attached to the fronttrailer tongue. Heavy duty electrical trailer plug. Anti-sway bars andadjustable hitch insert. Left side has original brass water fill. Newer pvcdrain has been added. Plug in power cord rated at 110/125. Original Shastawings attached to both sides. Exterior rear storage door allows access tostorage area under the rear bed. Roof is clean and sealed. There is a weatherproof cover over the roof vent. Across the front lower section of the traileris the original aluminum rock protector. Interior is in great shape. There is nobathroom, toilet or shower. There is no A/C. Rear upper bunk/storage has theoriginal bed pad. Lower rear couch pulls out to a double bed. Foam is newer andextremely comfortable. Small light on left rear corner. We have not been ableto find a period correct cover for the light. Storage closets on right side withdouble doors. Rear closet has three pull out draws for storage. Closet rod attop for hanging clothes on hangers. Heater by entry door works. Entry door haslocking handle. There is also a screen door. Left side of trailer has stove/oven,both work. Working sink with newer water tank and pump. Fridge does not work, will need repair or replacement. Upper cabinet has two doors that lock in theopen position. The original propane lamp is attached to the upper cabinet (we’venever used it). The roof has newer electrical lights hooked up to the battery. Front has upper storage shelf acrossfront end. Dinette table with benches on both ends. Table folds down to makeanother bed. Both benches have storage under them. Left side bench holds thewater tank, trailer electrical and power converter box. Right side bench holdsthe battery. All jalousie window glasses are cleanand intact. All windows have clean screens and interior window covering. Frontwindow exterior cover works. I made a few modifications, 1) LED trailer lamps inserted in theoriginal “wedding cake” tail lamp lens. Improved visibility at night. 2) I extended the propane line to theright rear of the trailer to attach propane camp appliances. 3) I flipped the rear axle over to give thetrailer more ground clearance.
