Vehicle description

1965 GM PD-4106 Automatic transmission, Classic Coach Conversion for sale.
This coach sleeps 2 comfortably but room for 4 if you add a bed in the parlor (we had a futon up front but removed it; too uncomfortable) There is a bedroom in the rear, a dinette, RV refrigerator and microwave. There are two captain’s chairs behind the driver"s seat with seat belts. The shower is larger than a standard RV shower. Has propane, water storage, gray water storage, and two roof air conditioners.
It runs (we just drove it 50 miles on a country back road with lots of turns) but it does need work as it sat for several years after my husband died and it needs a revival. My prior mechanic says he has done the following: new fuel lines, fuel filters, rebuilt fuel pump, rebuilt starter, injectors cleaned and the rack set, new 8D battery, electrical switches have been replaced as needed, etc. Interior paneling needs to be replaced on one side. Kitchen cabinets need some work. It has a new 8 D battery but will need 12 V batteries for the interior household power. It needs an electrical panel of some kind replaced or repaired in the engine compartment.
This a great rig. A little history on these coaches: In the 1960s and 70s, the PD-4106 (Parlor Diesel) was the workhorse of many fleets. The PD-4106 was first to use the new Detroit Diesel 8V-71 engine which developed 253 horsepower. It was also the first bus with a combined heating and cooling system with the compressor driven by the engine. With the big 8V71 Detroit Diesel and 35 foot length, they were the "sports cars" of coaches; these are faster and more powerful rigs that climbed hills with ease, and were fairly simple to maintain.
These are terrific motorhomes for touring the country, and when you park, it also can be an additional dwelling , a "tiny home" on wheels for guests, family members, or a caretaker.
Payment in full is due within 7 days of close of auction.
PAYPAL HOLDS ALL FUNDS FOR UP TO 21 DAYS, WHICH MEANS THAT THE BUS CAN NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL PAYPAL RELEASES ALL FUNDS.
CERTIFIED CASHIERS CHECKS CAN BE RECALLED FOR UP TO 6 WEEKS, WHICH MEANS THAT THE BUS CAN NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL THE BANK PROVES THAT THE FUNDS FOR THE CHECK WILL NOT BE CALLED BACK.
DUE TO THESE ISSUES, FOR BOTH PARTIES, CASH IS THE EASIEST AND BEST FORM OF PAYMENT.
. Thank you!
