1965 GM PD4106 BUS, VINTAGE RV, CLASSIC COACH CONVERSION, AUTOMATIC This 1965 GM PD-4106 is a Classic Coach Conversion, built for extended travel or full time living onboard. It is powered by a 253hp, 8V71 turbo Detroit Diesel engine with an automatic transmission; a strong machine built to last a life time. This vintage coach is 35 feet in length, sleeps 2 comfortably but has room for 4 if you add a bed in the parlor.
The shower is larger than a standard RV shower. It has propane, water storage, gray water storage, and two roof air conditioners. This turbo diesel is known as a hill climber. It has been inspected and gone through meticulously as has the suspension and brakes. The bus has been repaired as needed, from not being run for awhile. In addition we replaced the rear driver"s side airbag and the rubber on the bay door hinges. All the switches on the control panel by the drivers" seat have been checked and replaced as needed. Boarding the bus and facing the rear, two captain’s chairs are on the right side to create the main seating area. Across from them is space to use as you like. You may want a sofa here, a TV/entertainment center, or create an office area here. The dinette and large RV refrigerator are on the left side, facing the kitchen sink and microwave. Shower is larger than a standard RV size. The sleeping quarters are in the rear . It has a new 8 D battery to run the mechanics of the coach and there are 2 4D batteries to run the interior household power. The bus interior needs some minor work: Paneling will need to be worked on in the dinette area and the kitchen cabinets need some work also. I have both the original GM Manual and a digital copy on DVD. Come see this rig and drive it home. I don"t travel anymore and have no place to store the bus.
