1965 Ford School Bus

Vehicle description

Hi there!
This is an amazing opportunity for the right person or couple. I have a converted school bus that I"m am parting ways with.
I promise you this is like no other bus that you have seen for sale or online, and is really a unique setup that turns heads and produces compliments every time someone sees it.
For starters it is a vintage 1965 Ford B600. It has the unique round back body style and bug style front end.
The engine and under hood mechanics were the first thing to be replaced. I upgraded from the older 330 style industrial engine to a Big Block 390 with an rv cam. Paired with an edelbrock performance intake manifold and a decent sized edelbrock carb this thing has plenty of power to get moving. Yes it is a gas engine but it still runs amazing for a vehicle this size. As of writing this the engine has under 20 miles on it. I redid the odometer when the new engine was installed. The engine is remanufactured from a company based based out of Spokane, WA and they are very reputable at what they do. All mechanical on the bus has either been redone or replaced.
This does have a 5 speed manual, it is easy to drive, but be aware it is not an automatic
From here the interior will blow you away.
1500w soundsystem
Custom woodwork, primarily walnut and brass, has been used throughout
900w of solar on top stored in a 200ah Renogy battery
30amp service and fuse panel ran through progressive dynamics "mighty mini"
Custom cedar sauna with cubic mini wood stove, and kildwick urine diverting "composting" toilet.
High end authentic Brass faucet and galley sink in the kitchen with a suburban propane stove/oven
High output Shurflow water pump supplies enough water for doing dishes
15gal fresh water tank
40 gal grey water ( not installed)
(2) maxxair deluxe fans keep air circulating throughout, and if you ever felt the need to install a A/C wires have been ran to the front Maxxair fan for easy install.
Vintage brass wall sconces
For primary heat the Tiny Wood Stove Dwarf 5kw keeps this thing extremely warm in the cold winter months. Will include if full asking price is met.
Tin ceiling tiles throughout, custom painted to appear like older brass tiles
Everything has been insulated with roxul, spray foam or ridged styrofoam
Bedroom has a smaller vizio smart tv that syncs up to the bus sound system via bluetooth for watching netflix
Still needs a fridge, but the framing and propane lines have been run. Just need to buy one I can give you the model number.
There are a few things that need to be finished, but the list is so short and very easy to do;
Crown moulding for the tin ceiling tile
Kitchen boxes for spices, plants, etc
hookup grey water tank
finish making window screens.
Needs new tires, but I have super rare 22.5 rims, powdered coated white that are included which will get you off the old split rim style tires and allow the bus to drive faster at highway speeds
I would advise getting brakes looked at when new tires are being put on. They become a little soft at high speeds and if you plan on driving this out of state both tires and brakes are a must.
Please check out @darcystarlightbus on Instagram for all build photos, as I can only put so many up.
Also I can send more photos if you are not located in the Boise, ID area before you make the trip up to look at it. Just let me know!
I have all receipts from the build which add up to about $20,000 plus labor costs and my time building this thing out for 4 years
