This extremely complete and original Van has 37422 ORIGINAL MILES . It runs, starts, shifts, stops and drives very well. Steering and front end are tight. It appears to be all original body panels with virtually no rust. Wheel wells are nice with no repairs as are all door bottoms. Most of these will have rust around the fuel tube both outside and on the inside floor. This one is nice in both areas. See pictures. Original jack and spare are in place as it the original "Buddy" passenger seat that folds up out of the way. It has its original "California" mirrors. The three mounting screws for the standard mirrors are both original and still in place. (see original sales brochure). These holes are not aftermarket and still retain the original screws in place. I believe the motor and trans are original. Motor is 6cyl 194 cid. and trans is manual 3 speed. Paint job is just OK. It has small dents and dings from it"s long life as a service vehicle. It was bought new in Kansas City Mo. by the Boy Scouts and used most of its life around the camp. Some original documents on this are included. I have had it a couple of years and done the following. Total rebuild on the rear end. Re-conditioned the fuel tank both in and out. Rebuilt carburetor. Went through the brakes. Added the dual Zoomie exhaust. added wheels and tires. and added decals on bottom of van. It is easy to see that this van has been stored inside most of its life. The original wheels tires and hubcaps are included. Pros: very original and trustworthy driver. Great to drive as is or to restore to original or custom. Cons: Paint job is not great. But is in good driver condition and still shines. Rear bumper is home made. It drips a bit of oil. Door seals are missing on the side and back doors so they rattle. I did not add the seals because I was going to repaint it. Other projects are more important than this to me right now. I have a few seals along with a new horn. The wipers do not work but are completely intact so that should not be a big deal. The wiper arms and blades are new. The passanger window works but need asistance. It may need a bit of attention to be perfect. Heater does not work but is also completely intact and doesn"t look to be messed with. The wipers and heater were next on my list but I never got to them. You will not find a more original and clean van like this for a long time if ever. I drive this a lot in the summer and used it to go to the flying field with my R/C Planes. I have had it out on the highway on longer trips. I rarely ever drive it over 55 due to the rear end gears. It is a what you see is what you get, no surprise van. Drive it proudly like it is or fix it up.
