Vehicle description
You are bidding on a low time 1964 Piper Cherokee 235 with about 30 SMOH, 3750 TTAF, and 1401 lbs of useful load ! Over 20k of work done in the last month including annual and IFR certification (4/2019) . This aircraft has full logs, no known damage history, and nice upgrades!
Avionics: S-TEC 50 2-axis autopilot GX 50 IFR Approved GPS moving map NARCO Mk 12D and KX 125 radios KN64 DME 4 Place Intercom
Upgrades: Autogas STC Knots 2 U Aileron and Flap Gap Seals Precise Flight Backup Vacuum System Auxiliary Power Plug and Cable
Recent Work: New Alternator And Belt Resealed And Overhauled Fuel Sending Units On Both Main Fuel Tanks New Fuel Tank Cap Gaskets On All 4 Tanks Reskinned Rudder New ELT Battery Overhauled Airspeed Indicator, Turn And Bank Indicator, And Directional Gyro New Compass Seal New Seals On All Landing Gear New Landing Gear Mounting Hardware New Door And Baggage Door Seals New Pilot And Co-Pilot Seats Inspection And Corrosion Protection of Wing Spar
The aircraft is in great mechanical condition and really just needs a paint job. I have a paint shop lined up and the buyer can take my spot if interested. The plane was just flown 9 hours and so we know the remaining squawks are the DG processes (under warranty), the left tip tank fuel sending unit and valve need repair, the VSI and mixture gauges should be overhauled, and new wing root seals were to be put on after paint (new seals will come with the plane). None of these are expensive to do and you are getting a great aircraft with tons of life left on the engine and airframe well under VREF.
The aircraft is currently located at ABQ and is being sold as is where is. Buyer will need to pick up the aircraft. I will pay for an additional week of tie down from when the auction closes.
