“Interior is superior - clean, smoke & pet free. It has been freshly renovated from the headliner down to the all new carpet & other flooring. On the outside, the variegated paint scheme is good condition. Tires have a lot of life left. Glass has no cracks. There is a new cover on the auxiliary A/C unit on the roof. The engine and automatic transmission is in excellent condition. There are no fluids on the pavement where we park the bus. The low-hour Generac diesel generator starts quickly and runs well. Battery banks are new to mostly new. This coach has no issues of which I am aware.” |

Vehicle description
Vintage 1964 GM 4106 in excellent condition with the bells and whistles expected in a premium coach. Experience a quiet, smooth, luxurious ride in a sturdy road vehicle, considerably safer than a traditional motor-home. You"ll enjoy the attention this coach draws along the way.
MECHANICAL: Engine is a Detroit 8V71N. It starts instantly and hardly smokes. Of prime importance is that the correct oil (40W low ash) has always been used in this engine. It is mated to an Allison V730 Automatic Transmission with electronic shifting. This coach has been retrofitted with Shephard Power Steering. It also has air ride (extra bags included) as well as an air throttle. Starter is new.
Routine maintenance has recently been done by Don and Joel at Choo Choo Garage in Rossville, GA. They also checked this coach over and fixed what they saw might need attention. To my knowledge, there is nothing outstanding related to maintenance. This bus will keep 70+ highway speeds and is excellent on hills. The air ride and sound dampening makes it a very safe, smooth and quiet ride.
EXTERIOR: The bus is aluminum so there are no rust issues. It features a tasteful variegated paint scheme, with tons of luster. Windows are double-paned (Peninsula). It has electric, heated mirrors. The 18 ply tires have a lot of tread, with minimal imperfections. There is an inflation monitor. The coach is also equipped with a low hour, Generac, diesel generator that cost about 11K to buy. It is a 50Amp coach with plenty of cable and adapters.
Air conditioning is from a 2 ton, Coleman central unit and an auxiliary Dometic unit on the roof. A Hydra-Flame LP central unit provides heat and which is supplemented by a system that pulls heated water from the engine to a radiator under the sofa. Bays and bay doors are all in good shape. The 150 gallon fuel tank is full. There is a backup camera. This bus hasn"t been pulling a trailer but it is ready with a hitch, and braking controls.
INTERIOR: The interior has been totally renovated and is ready for an inaugural trip. Photos pretty much speak for themselves. Virtually everything is new. It can seat 8 and sleep 5. The cabinets are custom for this coach and are of solid oak. Also, there are places to plug in computers and recharge phones.
One of our best decisions was to install heavy, overhead chrome rails between the cabinets to create a "more open" feeling in the seating area, while providing place for small travel bags and other articles. The Galley is all electric, with the Norcold fridge able to run 110 or 12 volts. Plenty of cabinet and closet space is supplemented by storage under both stateroom beds. The bathroom has a porcelain commode and a large shower with nice headroom.
Coach comes with the 4106 GM manuals, many other receipts and records, and photos of the initial conversion. This represents my best efforts to describe the actual condition of the bus. It looks as good in person as it does in the photos.
