1964 Chevy c80 dump truck. Truck originally had a 409 which was later swapped with a brand new Goodwrench crate 427. Manual transmisson, split rear. Air brakes. The truck was originally sold at Quigley Chevrolet in Bally PA to a pool company then was later sold to a farmer who used it to haul corn and soybeans. In the truck"s lifetime, it always resided within a 1 mile radius since new. The family who had it retired from farming so the truck was parked until I had the opportunity to buy it (I believe it"s been sitting about 7 years). The 427 turns over however I could not get it to start, essentially all I did was put some gas in the tank and hook a jump pack to it to try it and that was it. Sounds healthy when it turns over. Body is decent for a 54 year old truck. Hood is bad and should be replaced, it is the same as a pickup hood from these years so it will be easy to find. Dump body is in excellent shape. Frame is nice and painted still. Due to being a pool company truck and farm truck this truck mainly saw the road in summer and was spared of the harsh winter salt it"s entire life so it is probably the most solid original c80 in Pennsylvania. Clean PA title in hand. Odometer shows 65k miles however when I had the title transferred to my name I made the mistake of putting 68k on the title. This can be corrected or simply exempted. GVWR is 33,000. Tires are decent. This truck is really a simple project that could probably be on the road in a weekend. Will need to be towed since it currently is not running.
