Up for sale 1964 Vintage Airstream Land Yacht Globetrotter 19 Feet Travel Trailer. This is single axle type trailer and its a Bambi size Airstream. Open floor plan with front sleeping sofa and side sofa which converts into bed for two. Upgraded torsion Axles, Dometic Ceiling A/C, floor propane heater, laminated floors, rear bathroom with toilet, sink and stand up shower. 4 burner gas stove and Dometic updated fridge. This trailer was purchased from an insurance company due to roof top damage(tree limb fell on it) and it comes with Clean Arkansas title. Trailer will need upper trailer roof top repair and skin replace and streightening of the top body panels(see pics) also sky light needs to be replaced (see pics) rear back window glass is broken. Misc. dents and scratches, but overall trailer still shows well, even with those damages its hard to find trailer of this shape mostly all original. Right side upper cabinets with range exhaust is is present and it needs to be put back on the wall once the upper body is fixed(See pics). Trailer has some water inside from rain, but its dried now, I put collision type plastic cover over roof vent to prevent rain water access, and its covered now while in my possession. This will be a great summer time project for a handyman or bogyman who knows how to work with aluminum sheeting and with using rivets replace and restore this trailer back to its original shape. We have fixed a few vintage Airstreams in the past with similar damages, and its a process but possible to achieve. Trailer just traveled over 500 miles road trip, it performed well, tracks straight, does not pull and it follows vehicle very well, being lightweight unit, this will be one of the most desirable trailers to have! Previous owner did some body aluminum polishing and its very bright and shiny on the sun. I assume serious bidders only!
