1963 Century Trailer Camper Coach Model 19
Turns heads and makes friends. This trailer coach has been cleaned and serviced - it’s ready for the road.
Made by Century, it"s comparable to the Airstream, Trotwood, and Scotty trailers in terms of quality and aesthetics. Original details intact, down to the wood interior walls, cabinetry, and lamps. Original porcelain sinks with original fixtures that work. Original window curtains and original chenille-like covered cushions. All in good condition for the age of the camper.
Custom built in Detroit, Michigan, this all original 1963 camper trailer has the coveted bath-in-back floorpan. The galley kitchen gives a view from the sink and provides counter space over the original working fridge and oven. Even includes a slide out cutting board. Sofa pulls out to sleep 2. Dinette folds down to sleep 2 more. Rear bathroom gives privacy with a sliding, locking door. Separate shower and toilet on either side of a centered lav with counter space and overhead shelving with mirror. Wardrobe closet with full length mirror. Clean title in hand. Third owner. Title lists weight as 2950lbs. New tires in August, 2017, with 4200 miles on them. New full size spare. Electric brakes. Sway control. New tongue jack. Four stabilizer jacks. New vehicle plug and wiring for lights and brakes. Professional inspection July, 2018: repacked bearings and checked electric brakes. Receipts available. Roof sealed in September, 2017. Original working fridge (see thermometer in photos). Original oven/stove, clean, not tested. Pressurized water storage tank. Cold water works in both sinks (copper lines). Hot water lines are cracked near each sink. Shower supply lines disconnected, but would be easy to replace. Original water heater not tested. Foot flush toilet works. Missing water supply, but works with manual flush. Propane lines to fridge, furnace, and water heater look good but are not tested. Propane tank not included. Original furnace not tested. Heavy duty awning, yellow and white striped. All road lights functional. Rear side markers have been switched to LED for safety. Original incandescent lamps included in sale. New flexible waste tubes with extension and necessary connectors. 30/15A converter plugs included for campground hookup and household hookup.

Does it leak? No. Roof was sealed September, 2017. It does not leak currently. Evidence of previous leaks includes darkened wood spots over toilet, under sofa window, and inside a couple upper cabinets. The roof is seamed sheet metal, so vigilance is key.
How does it tow? Dreamy. Tows smoothly behind pickup truck with integrated brake controller. Recent trip included sustained speeds of 65-70MPH. Sway control is recommended and included in this auction.
