Up for auction is this 1962 Silver Streak travel trailer. The exterior is in good condition overall. The old aluminum exterior can be buffed to a beautiful shine. The inside will need a lot of work, as you can see in the pictures. The ceiling and upper part of the interior, is aluminum. The walls are mostly of wood paneling. The paneling is old and damaged in several places. The doors of most of the cabinet work are in rough condition, with some missing latches. The front door window has a single glass pane, instead of the original jalousie window panes. We have eight sheets of 1/8" wood paneling (4" x 8") which will work great on the interior walls of this trailer. .(it is similar to birchwood). .(we will include with the trailer).
The total length of the trailer including the tongue, is 24", body of the trailer is 21" in length. The trailer is solid, and the floors are solid. Trailer will need some work on the plumbing, and the original bathroom holding tank is damaged.
