adorable and rare 1962 airstream. this has been in our family a very long time and it gets a lot of compliments. my grandparents owned it originally and took great care of it. they had the kitchen cabinets rebuilt using the original hardware in perfect clean condition. it has a new emergency escape skylight that is large in the living area. new door latch installed by airstream in grand rapids Michigan. it also has new light fixtures. several brand new 110 outlets as well. we just had all new curtains made. a brand new beautiful multi colored blue striped awning made as well. it has an efficient whirlpool fridge and original and absolutely adorable large early 50s stove with all push button controls and pinkish colored accents. its very retro looking and a piece of art in itself. my grandparents were very worried about gas leaking because of an incident with one of their friends on a camping trip so there is no furnace. the camper is well insulated so a small heater works great if needed and does come with it. the airstream was not made with an air unit so a portable floor a/c was bought for it and its a drain free model and is also very efficient and works very well, keeps it ice cold and you can regulate it much better than a roof top air unit. the camper features built in hardwood dresser with double closets, a large center be, front bed/couch. the floor was completely replaced as well as the bathroom made into sleeping area for the grand kids . .sleeps 6 people. .if you know vintage campers this is a god send for sleeping and guests. most sleep2 at best. this is a trade wind model single axle which makes it rare and extremely easy to pull. it has a lot of storage and also rear storage that goes underneath the whole area underneath the rear beds. it has new tires and newer shiny Alcoa shiny solid aluminum rims the camper is in fantastic shape with no dents and the aluminum content is almost pure so it can be buffed to a mirror shine although we have never done that. its been stored inside .some light scratches but no dents or rips in the shell. as you can see by the pictures, for being a 1962 its in great shape. has the very neat small screen door that is in the large door as well. this will make someone a fantastic vintage airstream and will give you pride of ownership. we are located in Decatur Michigan off of interstate 94 (I94) wire transfer or cashiers check or cash only. .we can keep it as long as needed as long as it is paid for in full. .must send a 500 deposit before pick up THIS IS A GREAT DEAL bid with confidence and get your dream camper today. need 7,500
