For Sale 1961 BAMBI. Selling our Baby
The most desired Airstream by many, here is a rarely offered 1961 Airstream Bambi, Ohio side. The only Airstream model to be featured in the Museum of Modern Art collection in New York. The original Bambi was produced for only 3 years from 1961 – 1963. Only 866 were produced. This one was #60 off the Ohio production line in 1961 serial # 161T160
This trailer is 16 ft. long bumper to hitch ball, and weighs only 1875 lbs
She is all original all around. The Electric,Plumbing and gas all work.
What She needs. Refrigerator ( that I am looking for) Front window ,Door hinges fixed, but still opens and closes, a few of the tear drop lights are missing, and some overall Love. There are scuffs here and there.But no major damage anywhere. Great overall condition and bones especially for someone that would want to do a restoration as it is pretty complete with everything working. As it is listed for sale I am continuing to do work on her as I find time and the parts needed until sold. IE Find refrigerator replacement,front window etc. .
