Rare 1960 24FT HOLIDAY HOUSE Tandem Axel Travel Trailer
*We recovered this trailer from a field in Montana*
*We have since moved to SW Idaho. *
Road Worthiness:
Wheel bearings have been greased with brand new tires put on last year. We towed it 9 hours when moving here last year, 2018. However, this unit will need temporary lights to be road worthy.
This unit needs a complete restoration.
-When we found the unit it was used for storage with a large hole cut in the side pushed up against another storage building.
-The front dining and kitchen area have been gutted. This would require a rebuild including appliances. We have included two click-clack bench seats with the trailer.
-The bathroom area at the back of the trailer has also been gutted, requiring a full rebuild including sink and potty.
-The shower area is still a shower area.
-Has obvious water damage in kitchen area ceiling around roof vent.
It only takes a simple google of "Holiday House Travel Trailer" to find out what these units were meant to be. With less than 25 remaining Holiday Houses known to exist there are even fewer 24" double axel units known to exist! This is one of three as far as we know.
