Lyndwood Welding Eliminator Dragster.Restored to original race condition 1959 - 1962, AACA registered, 95 inch WB, fresh 283 Chevy with fuelie heads, original Algon fuel injection system on alcohol, fresh Vertex magneto, 1939 LaSalle trans, Lakewood scatter shield, 1939 Ford rear, new Strange axles, new front Avon tires & tubes on original 1959 wire wheels, new pie crust slicks on magnesium rims. Fully restored, totally functional and completely documented. Known as Alley Oop it was raced in the B/Dragster Class by the Modifiers of Danbury, CT. One of the most original and complete Lyndwood Welding dragsters. Only 23 of the original 400 (est) cars built by Pat Bilbow in Wilkes Barrie, PA. these dragsters dominated the sport from the late 1950"s to the mid-1960"s.
