1959 Airstream Globetrotter 18 footer
The Globetrotter is the perfect size and layout that incorporates a full size permanent bed in the rear, wrap around seating up front that converts to another full size bed. With two large street size windows above a full kitchen you get plenty of natural light and scenic views. It has full height closet on the curb side as well as a fridge and wet bath to the right of the door as you enter.
The interior is original and 100% complete and intact all the way down to the Airstream foldout table. The original wood is in very good shape and has zero delamination. Original zolatone paint. The appliances are in great shape. The fridge insert has zero cracking, the sink has no chips and the stove is nice as well. All are in excellent restorable condition.
The exterior is in great shape as well with minimal dings. I have a new door drip edge cap, new old stock taillight lenses, period correct rear bumper, and various other parts that go with the trailer.
This Airstream is an excellent candidate for a full original restoration with every interior part accounted for in restorable condition. These trailers are near impossible to find that haven"t been gutted or defaced by prior owners. This is a true "barn find".
