Vehicle description

1957 Canned Ham. This is an amazing find. Originally Owned by a family in California that owned a winery, and kept this camper in a building most all of its life. Sold to a professional restoration person, and she restored it to show almost new condition, but better. We have Upgraded it with power lift jack for easy towing hookup, storage box on front, modern roof air conditioning , also has original Panel Ray gas heater at the door entrance and it still works, camp rite gas stove, but I have the original DIXIE gas stove that will come with it, all new modern wiring installed for safety, newer floor covering, but floors were not replaced as they were in good condition just worn.It has twin beds, matching linens, storage underneath, and tons of cabinet storage. The original Westinghouse refrigerator performs perfectly, simply amazing. The Birchwood throughout the camper is simply beautiful and restored. It has wooden 3 inch blinds on all the regular windows. Also, the new TV works great. We re-worked axels, springs, bearings, and it comes with load levers and heavy duty tow hitch and hookups, very nice easy up awning, newer upholstery is in the 1957 turquoise and white style on one side, and vintage TROTWOOD look on the other side. It Has full wet bath in rear with shower, that works but better with the water hooked up to campground as the tank is rather small and the sink and toilet work as intended by manufacture ,and this rare beauty comes with everything you need to go camping, right down to the vintage plates, cups, saucers and silverware. Just hook up, and go. It was painted with car paint and pin striping We pull it with a Tacoma Toyota pickup, and it pulls great with most any suv or pickup. All lights work. This may be one of the most original TROTWOODS in the country. Great for a Bed and Breakfast addition. This camper is not one of those 30,000.00 dollar new made retro look campers. When you step inside, you know your are back in 1957, not in a fake look a like. It screams vintage and quality. You can feel the quality built right in, and the thickness of the aluminum. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. A lot nicer than the new stuff. A RARE ORIGINAL FIND INDEED. Clear, clean SC title in our name in hand. We’ve loved this camper, and used it, but it’s time for us to let someone else enjoy her. The value shall be determined by your bid purchase. We are going to sell it with NO RESERVE, So bid what you can, and buy one of the few originals left in this wonderful condition that has been restored professionally. We think it’s worth 28,000.thousand dollars, but the highest bidder will be the lucky owner, no matter where the auction ends up. The buy it now price, we think is very low for this quality of originality and quality of camper that it is. We thank you, and feel free to ask questions. I bought it from the retirees who live in Charleston, SC , and they know everything about it. I have it advertised locally and elsewhere and reserve the right to end the auction at the moment someone buys it, as there has been a lot of interest generated since it’s been at my classic car business. Thank you, and happy bidding. Please feel free to call me and questions will be cheerfully answered. Thanks, Rock.
