Vehicle description
This is a full gut and restoration of a 1957 Crosley vintage camper and now is basically a new camper with a vintage shell.
The rebuild started with a total gut of interior and fixing all the rotten wood. All the windows were taken out and resealed with buytl tape. Also every screw on the exterior was replaced will all new stainless steel ones. The roof was scrapped and resealed with roofing tape across the front and back seam and dicor. Both exterior doors had to be remade by a local metal fabricated. The original glass and door handles were placed back in. Locks have NOS keys made and work.
Interior was wired with both 110v outlets and 12v wiring all LED lighting and a ground 31 battery. There is a 30 gallon fresh water tank and propane hot water heater under the bed. New 2 way (110 and propane) RV frig full size installed. Couch in front of camper is a new RV couch that was taken out of new camper. All wood is birch with a dark brown trim accents. The kitchen cabinet with sink, upper cabinets, cabinet doors, and 2 pocket doors are original and refinished. Sliding pocket door in bathroom and in bedroom to close it off from rest of camper. Camper will sleep 3 adults.
There is NO A.C. unit. Camper is setup for a vent less propane heater (not included). Propane hose with quick connect is installed thru the floor.
Bathroom is only a RV toilet and sink,,,no shower. There is NO gray or black holding tanks in this camper. We used a blue rolling tank connected to waste valve while camping then took to duping station.
Stove and oven both work great.
We have a teal bag awning that is 15ft in the awning rail and works great with no holes.
There is 2 30# propane tanks on tongue and it has a power lift jack. The front of the camper is fitting with crank down jacks and the back with use the triangle ones.
Camper had new 6 lug wheels and tires and load range E tires for the weight.
Camper is 20ft long and 8ft wide. Camper weight is 4300lbs. You will need a truck to pull this camper. Had Electric brakes on axles but we never hooked them up.
Camper has a NYS transferable registration that says 1957 crosley.
We want this camper to go to a family that is going to embrace the vintage camper lifestyle and maintain this restoration.
