Vehicle description
Super sweet vintage Crown 1956 canned ham. 12 ft. body (+2 extra ft. w/hitch). 1500 lbs. HAVE TITLE.
Brand new tires, jack/hitch, and chains. New propane tank. Everything works (electricity, propane, hitch, lights).
I"ve had this camper for 10+ years now and it"s the best! Lightweight and roomy enough for two. In usuable condition (I still take it out), but needs some TLC. I don"t have the experience to do it and this camper deserves to be brought back to glory. All original basic interior - wood, icebox, propane stove, windows. Has a closet but no bathroom. Full size memory foam mattress bed. Couch also folds into bed (that is the image shown).
What it needs: body work. Over the years the exterior aluminum outer walls have been separating, and I"ve just been patching them with roofing tape (on one side in particular). There was a small pinhole in the roof, so there is water damage in one area of the roof - pic included. (I have since patched that ). Few other minor places of wood damage - pics included. I did take it out a few months ago and it rained hard and the cabin did not get any rain inside. The door needs attention. It closes, but doesn"t fit smoothly. One side window was replaced with a piece of hard plastic (I think for an AC unit before I had it - totally functional just doesn"t look great). Pic included. Dent in back (pic).
Someone who knows how to restore this will have a gem! Price reflects that work needs to be done - but this is a great deal! No reserve! Selling as is. Any questions please ask!
Located in Gainesville Florida. Local pick up. May be willing to negotiate delivery within a few hours drive if payment made in advance.
