“Description: Silver Streak was a very well made riveted construction trailer. This trailer is in pretty nice shape for a 1956 model and would not take a lot of work to be usable. NOTE..THIS IS A PROJECT CAMPER... .EXTERIOR Description.. This 1956 Silver Streak vintage trailer has a very nice original, straight, and intact exterior. Exterior skin is nice with fixable flaws. The under skin is missing in the front and rear. This vintage Silver Streak would polish up nicely to a mirror like shine. Bumper, Frame, & A-frame...: iT appears to be good and solid with only minor surface rust The exception wound be the repair to the A frame which is now stronger than factory. Tires are dry rotted and no good. The rims are lock ring type and need to be replaced. The two pictures show the floor plan and finish that can be had on this trailer.” |

Description: Silver Streak was a very well made riveted construction trailer. This trailer is in pretty nice shape for a 1956 model and would not take a lot of work to be usable. NOTE. . t his is a project camper. EXTERIOR Description. This 1956 Silver Streak vintage trailer has a very nice original, straight, and intact exterior. Exterior skin is nice with fixable flaws. The under skin is missing in the front and rear.This was due to the trailer being skid down the pavement due to the trailer ball uncoupling. This vintage Silver Streak would polish up nicely to a mirror like shine. Bumper, Frame, & A-frame: All appears to be good and solid with only minor surface rust The exception wound be the repair to the A frame to frame joint which is now stronger than factory.

Dents, Scratches & Damage: Dents, Scratches, Lower wraps have some dents, dings, and holes. Overall exterior skin is in fair shape for a unit this age.

Roof: Roof: Roof is dent free and appears to be in good shape. Old Duo-Therm brand air conditioner
Tail, License & Marker Lights: Tail, License & Marker Lights: All exterior lights are original. Original lenses are faded some. Window Glass/Seals: Has original crank out windows except in front and rear. Front windows are original Needs some glass and cranks but all windows and doors are complete and in good shape. INTERIOR w alls: Original riveted aluminum in good shape. Floor is in poor shape in the bath area and floor needs work through out. RUNNING GEAR Description: Has original tandem axles for more stable pulling. All appears to be in good shape. I pulled grease caps on hubs and grease appeared full, so I drove on and checked hubs and they never got hot. Pulled for 30 miles at 60 mph as tires are bad.
