1956 Airstream Safari For Sale 22 feet long and weighs 3400 pounds. Located in Apex, North Carolina.

Professionally appraised in person by James Polk of Polk and Associates for $87,500.00. It is insured for agreed upon value for $87,500. This is an opportunity to own the currently #1 Award Winning Vintage Airstream in the USA, serial number O6317. Her name is Betty Lou. She has the iconic 13 panels and the rare front kitchen and interior dinette. Manufactured in Ohio. 133 were made less than 15 still exist. 995 Original and Exemplary restored original condition. Winner of Best 1950"s Platinum Award at the Vintage Airstream Club Concours D" Elegance at the 2016 WBCCI International Airstream Rally in Lewisburg West Virginia. This unit also won the Gold Award at the 2019 WBCCI International Airstream Rally Vintage Airstream Club Concours in 2019 at the Meadow Event Park. She also won Best 1950s in Show (of all makes and models) at the Southern Vintage Trailer Friends in Jeckyl Island, GA. A previous owner was John McAfee, founder of the McAfee Anti Virus Software Company. It has spent the majority of its life in the dry climate of the Southwestern part of the country. It was photographed in Money Magazine in 2015. I have a picture of the Original owners pictured in 1956. I purchased this unit in 2014. It has been Meticulously restored and maintained by Capital City Customs in Raleigh, NC. A copy of the Appraisal and Polk"s credentials is available upon request. Unlike many other RV"s this unit will continue to increase in value every year if properly maintained in its current condition. All functionalities have been maintained and work properly.
