1955 Airstream 16’ Bubble
Just completed a full frame off restoration Brand new top to bottom and absolutely amazing with no expenses spared to give this one room to be comfortable with its custom layout and plenty of storage space. The following items are all new: Frame stripped and sealed with POR15 Axle was inspected, rebuilt and bearings were greased Brand new tires on upgraded one piece steel wheels and new stainless baby moon hubcaps. All new tongue, jack and propane tank holder New propane system including all piping, new tanks, hoses and regulator All new LED marker lights by VTS (Vintage Trailer Supply) All new taillight assemblies from VTS Rebuilt original license plate light and holder All new seals on windows, door and door in door. New door knob and deadbolt with keys. Door working properly All new insulation under new subfloor prior to all new subfloors Custom Forbo Marmoleum custom made to look just like factory 1950s flooring tiles All new custom cabinetry including my own design with the layout having a front kitchen and a rear bathroom New exterior shower New toilet in bathroom New wiring throughout 120v and 12v systems New marine 12v battery New inverter New breaker box New 12v led lighting throughout New aluminum walls inside -no old patches New AC. Dometic 13500 btu Penguin II New Fantastic fan with 12v motor and forward and reverse Original Pink porcelain Wedgewood Stove from 1955 Original Marvel fridge. Works as an icebox. Dry Ice keeps it cold for a week or more New toilet on new black tank New freshwater system throughout including tank, pump, PEX plumbing pipes and faucet New dove white paint New curtains New professional custom made mattress made to fit curve of trailer. All new countertops in whitewashed wood Formica similar to what was in a 1955 Airstream All new maple cabinetry custom fit by craftsmen and finished with semi-gloss clear All new glass in windows as well as new aluminum screens. All windows and hardware meticulously stripped and refinished Door in door all rebuilt and working perfectly
