Vehicle description
Here is one of the most desirable collectible vintage trailers out there. In unmolested original factory condition Silver Streak Clipper with the rare and desired Alian Eyes front and back windows. This one is from the same family since new in 1953. It was bought and not used until 1956 when a new Pontiac with a V-8 was purchased to take and the family to Texas. It has been stored in the barn and out in the yard when used for an out of town guest cottage for overnight family guests ever since. This one is not all beat up with dents or bruises either inside or out or just worn or been painted or "fixed"." It is as original as can be with even the green factory paint on the interior aluminum and original varnish on the woods. The porcelain heater was only used maybe twice. The only thing not as factory that I can recall is the floor covering. Included is an original brochure (not a dup copy) with the silver ink on the trailer drawing Also the original cast iron (unused) Dixy Stove ashtray, How rare are those to last this long in the cupboards. The rubber gimping around the tilt out windows should be replaced and I believe a window needs replacing. The tires have always been aired up but probably are original as well. Includes the rare to still exist green matching Formica sink cover that also matches the dinette table top. Original 4 burner Dixie stove. The aluminum cabinet surfaces are in amazing shape. The family has been watching eBay and other sites for a couple of years and we have not ever seen another one in near mint original condition as ours. If you want to start with a good one to polish and have it look like you want it to this would be the one. Otherwise, to put the original looking linoleum (can"t remember what it was called) inside I think is all it needs to win prizes or at least envy of everyone. Email any questions and thanks for looking. Reserve is inline for what it is. Advertised elsewhere so may end prematurely.
