For sale: One 1952 M38A1 Military Jeep. You got a war or a parade you want to participate in? I have the transportation! Be ready for the next 4"th of July! Get Ready Now. Why wait!
I restored this from a civilian YELLOW jeep to what you see in front of you. I put less than one-hundred miles on it since I started the restoration process. It has new tires and an entire new braking system along with a new master cylinder. The rear end has been completing rebuilt and it only cost me $2,500! The seats are canvas unlike the black bucket seats it came with. The gas tank is new along with the windshield wipers and the canvas top. It also has an e-brake. It also has a new steering column and steering wheel. The engine is a Ford something or other from a "79 Pinto. That"s what it came with. Also installed a battery kill switch. This way the battery won"t wear down if you don"t drive it everyday. I installed the storage box instead of a rear seat. Carburetor has been completely cleaned. The only hang up is when it is in second gear and if you coast or push in the clutch it will pop out of second. It has been in parades and I get many offers for it. But I wasn"t ready to relieve myself of this prize. My wife want"s to go on vacation and I just bought a motorcycle, so the jeep has to go.
