I am selling my rare 1951GM Coach Bus RV. I have owned this bus for 16 years, but am selling because I no longer need this vehicle. Only 1500 of this bus were made in 1951, and to my knowledge this is the only one left running. (This is number 575 of 1500). Named The Blue Ghost, this bus was a U.S. Army transport bus from 1951 til 1971. At that time it was sold to the general public, and under private ownership, was converted into the wonderful RV you see today. I am the 3rd owner (caretaker) of this wonderful example of American quality! It is powered with a 391 Ford Dump Truck engine (gas burner) in the rear, a 6 speed Allison automatic transmission. I just recently put all 6 brand new tires on (less than 500 miles on them), all new fan belts, and had new kingpins put in the front end, new oil change and oil filters, two new marine batteries. It is ready to hit the road! 35 ft long. 70 gallon gas tank, 100 gal. fresh water tank, 100 gal. black water tank. I have updated all of the water piping to the new pex style, put in a new furnace, new refrigerator, and new toilet in the last few years. I may be willing to consider a 60"s or 70"s Cadillac as partial trade, but really prefer cash for the majority of the price. Queen size bed in the rear, 2 flat screen TV"s, full bathroom/shower, propane stove with 2 full propane tanks.
