Vehicle description
Here is the first custom aluminum bodied version of the Offenhauser special built by Jack Sutton for George Beavis. This is what’s left of the famous offy road race car. There are some dents and small cracks at parts of body panels but nothing serious. you will need to make a track nose for it. I was unable to track down the original. This race car raced many races throughout the 50s and raced and rubbed with the best in racing! It was based off a 1952 MG and had a custom space frame made after 1952 and offy powered. This is the only one in the world! Do some research and find out how special George Beavis was. He worked for Roy Richter from Cragar and Bell Auto designed many racing chassis for race cars and was a master machinist. Here’s your chance to own a piece of early 50s road racing history. As is no warranty. I can help with getting the body to a shipper but will not ship. Pick up only. My 1950s Ford truck is not part of the sale. Thank you and good luck.
