Vintage Camper 1950 Silver Streak 18" Clipper. . This Super Rare, and Historically Special Travel trailer is based on a early Wally Byam design (The father of Airstream). . This Camper has spent its life here in the dry desert climate of New Mexico. It has No rust, rot, or mold. Solid floors. It is in excellent shape being that it is now more than 70 years old! ! The only original appliance it currently has is the ice box. Custom seats were made for it, there is storage space under the seats. New upholstered cushions, and throw pillows top the seats. There is no bathroom, or bed. The camper was set up to have a open floor plan to hual a dirt bike inside, there is eye bolt latches attached to the seats to tie one down to. . A cot, or a airmattress can be used to sleep. The outside aluminum skin is in great shape just needs polishing if you like the shinny look. The under belly skin has a small hole/puncture about the size of an apple, but isn"t noticeable unless you climb under it. Has a solar panel mounted to it, and a awning. Original rims, and hubcaps with a original spare wheel/tire. Tires hold air, but have a bit of dry rot. Cool turn signals, and side marker lights that work. 2" ball hitch with a spot for a propane tank, and a battery box. Tows great, very light you can hardly feel it behind you. You could probably even tow it with a car. The title states that it weighs 1500 pounds that"s including wheels. Lighter than a Airstream, and way more rare! This make, and model Vintage Camper all restored are selling for 40-50K. . It wouldn"t take much to get it to that point!
