“In fair shape, floor and frame are sound and strong. Interior is very good, needs tlc, cleaning and a new skylight. Water seepag around where skylight was not bad. Comes with twin mattress, double wardrobe built-in, sink, stove microwave, refrigerator, toilet, heater and dinette set that converts into another bed.. Kitchen cabinets, wardrobe units and walls are all natural wood. Toilet needs holding tank and/hose in order to use. Lights work inside and out. Comes with ten ply tires with two extra tires and a rim for a spare. I pulled this with my Jeep from Louisiana to West Virginia, without a problem. I have owned this for a couple of years and , because of my failing health it sits in my driveway. I wanted to restore this but it is time to let go. I hoard $2000 for it but because of the issues that I have already mentioned, I am willing to let it go at $1200. I cannot find the title but there is a vin # on the tongue and I will give a notarized bill of sale. This is a bargain”

Vehicle description

1949 Kit Chateau. Originally produced to be used as housing for soldiers after WW2. This is a very rare and desirable trailer. She needs restoration to make her shine again but it will be worth it. She is road worthy and in fair shape. Her inside and outside lights work. She comes with a toilet (not original), a kitchen with refrigerator and sink, lots of cabinets and storage, a heater, woodwork all around, a dinette area that converts to a bed, and a bedroom with another bed and a double built-in wardrobe. The skylight needs replacing and I have had it covered with a tarp to prevent water damage to the beautiful wood walls. Needs a waste holding tank for the toilet. Any questions PM me on Facebook (Christine Johnson), or email at [email protected] or call me at 304-927-5947. I also have this for sale on Facebook and at my home so I reserve the right to end the auction to sell it if I get private offers. Thank you for looking at this listing and God Bless you all.
