This incredible rare vintage trailer is in our shop for restoration, at Relic Trailers in Washington. The owner just asked us to sell off all the trailers they have here to pay legal bills, so we"re offering it to either stay in line with us for restoration, or you can pick it up and take it to the restoration shop of your choice, or DIY.
The owner is the lady who owns the new Silver Streak Trailer Co. which is building the 1950 Clipper again, but they"re in a lawsuit with Airstream over the shape, so they"re selling everything. This was intended to go into their factory museum with a period correct restoration, and they have held onto it for a long time for that purpose- they had 2, this was the nicer. In all actuality, this is a very rare model of this rare trailer- it has a factory bathtub- complete with a spigot and a drain- under the curbside dinette seat.
This Aeroflite Falcon also has the original galley, original dinette table, and enough of the original interior to use for patterns that you"ll have a super nice specimen to take to Pismo next year, or just camp in it, in all its 1940"s style and glory.
The Aeroflite was polished a few years ago and retains most of the shine, but can use some touch up after its restored to give it more shine. The color on the stripes are original, but you can change them to anything you like. This is the perfect way to buy this type of trailer, original and before someone was able to hack it up with a non original restoration that would have affected its value.
