Vehicle description
Up for Sale! Pulled out of the woods where it had been parked since the early 1980s. I give you the opportunity to own this one of a kind 1941 Dodge short school bus. This amazing short bus has had a chrysler 331 hemi and auto transmission stuffed into it at some point prior to 1970. I saved this Zombie Apocalypse ride from certain doom as it was destined for the crusher. It ran when parked. Lol. I do have the title and keys. The roof has been lifted by the previous owner. They used the original roof metal and it can be lowered to original height again. These buses were made for little kids. Has early Oregon motor home plate, so maybe it traveled before it was parked? The guy (in his 90"s) I got it from, said he got it in the early 70s and drove it home from a commune. Moved it again in 1980/81 and been parked since. Until I got it. Super rare. Super cool. Build it? Restore to original? Unique advertisement opportunity? Hippie B&B? Tiny house? Mother-in-law setup? Get it running as is and scare the neighborhood? Zombie Tacos anyone? Located in Grants pass Oregon. This bus body was built by Superior Coach Company. Registered as 20ft. I have trip permits from 1980 and 81 confirming the last time it drove around. I have a few of the windows and frames as well as some of the glass running lights for the bus. I believe by looking at the paint layers it was originally school bus yellow, then painted og military green, then yellow again. It has some rust spots here and there but is a very solid unit as a whole. It will need trailered. Won"t see another. 1941 Dodge Short Bus.
