1941 Stearman PT-17 for sale by private owner. This is the ultimate Hangar Queen that is ready to fly. The annual was just completed 4/20/2021 and No Squaks! Engine is strong with all cylinder compressions 70+. All relevant upgrades have already been done! Redline Brakes, Roller Bearing Mod, Solid Tailwheel Tire, AdsB "in and out" with Garmin 660 moving map that broadcasts all traffic. Additional mods include; the PM1200 from PS Engineering which helps control the PTT feature and makes flying into crowded airspace achievable . Essentially, isolating the audio system from your passenger to deflect wind noise - allowing the pilot to hear the ATC or communications at tower airports. All log books available. No significant airframe damage history or crashes that I am aware of. Possibly a few ground loops or work done prior to ground up restorations - see log books. 226 hrs on Engine since overhauled. 10 hrs on Prop since 100 hr AD (as required for McCauley props).
