“1941/42 WC 41 Dodge ½ ton. She’s in top shape, no rust, starts & runs extremely well. Her Width is 7ft 6.75in, 7ft 9.5in high, &18ft 9.5in long. 600 mile on the motor, it was restored 3 years ago. The 123 inch frame, winch and front ½ ton axels are from a WC 41, emergency repair chassis production # 233 built in 1941. Government contract #s W-398 QM 10327 (267) Engineering code is T215 Detroit Mich. She now has a ¾ ton rear end assembly with dual tires. It also has a 12 volt system, early war time civilian cab and fabricated cargo area. She also has a heater, windshield vacuum, booster, turn signals, back up lights, battle lights, 4x4, heavy duty winch, original horn, 8ft long radio antenna, two year old garaged canvas’s and very good brakes for a vehicle of this vintage. As you can see, she looks like a 2 ½ ton however she is small and fits into my home standard 2 car garage. Top speed is 55mph. Great for parades and shows.” |
