1931 Miller Race Car Replica & Aluminum Trailer This race car and trailer were both custom fabricated and handmade by a local fabricator and machinist for his Grandson. There was no kit or pre-drawn plan and very few purchased parts were used for the car & trailer. Most everything was hand crafted by the builder making this car and trailer genuine works of art. Over 2200 hours of love and precision work were put into this project.
The car overall length = 110" (9" 2")
Wheelbase = 60" (5") The replica Miller Race Car fabricated parts All aluminum hand formed body - 3003 H-14 OBO aluminum Steering box with 4:1 ratio, steering wheel with quick release hub Coil over shocks with Monroe valving & the aluminum body made to fit
Bombardier snow mobile springs used as coils Front axle, hubs, steering arms, hair pin radius rods Gas, clutch and brake pedals Disk brake outer halves Disc brake caliper pads made from Camaro brake pad material Wheels modified to 4 pin knock off hubs, one right hand, one left hand thread Fuel tank, fuel tank lid, remote fuel shut off lever Exhaust system with the custom muffler made to fit under the body All 4 drive pulleys Jack shaft and aluminum belt tensioner assembly Bellcranks, (4 each) for shift lever and belt tensioner. Belts drive rearward to jack shaft, then forward thru belt tensioner to the 4 speed transaxle. Clutch/ tensioner is used to shift transaxle only Lever outside the body is the shift lever
Purchased parts 13 hp Briggs & Stratton engine Wheels, front = 16", rear = 16" 4 speed with reverse transaxle & clutch Drive belts, centrifugal motor pulley. new moped tires, Disc brake and master cylinder parts Custom Handmade Aluminum Trailer All aluminum Brand new single torsion axle Length = 96" + Tongue length = 32" = 128" Total length Width = 44" + Wheel wells = 22" = 66" Total length West coast delivery by owner may be available.
