1916 American LaFrance Model 75 Fire Truck Registered number 1922. It is listed on the SPAAMFAA- Society for the Preservations & Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America Registry. It was shipped in December of 1918. VIN 33696 (Engine #) Powered by a huge nearly 1,000 cubic inch ALF 6 cylinder engine. 3 speed manual transmission and big brakes. 1,000 GPM pump. This truck was lovingly restored over many years and at a great expense of time and money, it looks absolutely fantastic right down to its hand painted wood wheels. This truck was delivered new in 1918 to the Wausau Wisconsin Fire Department according to information found online. The truck starts easily and is fun to drive, this is the first time in 12 years that its been run. The truck comes with all the spare parts and items in the photos, the owner was going to build his own ladders but wasn"t able to complete them. All the wood is included to build the ladders.
