Vehicle description
Tons of Fun needs a new home.
I bought this previous medium duty fire station ambulance sight unseen in Orlando, Fl. I Flew to pick up the rig and drove it home from the east coast to west coast in 5 days straight. Other than adjusting the mirrors Tons of Fun drove flawless with gobs of power all the way back home to Oregon.
This was going to be my outlander camper conversion project that I started. In the 2 years owning this rig I have bought a house and my priorities have changed. So here is a pretty close to clean slate to create your ultimate camper.
Pros:
Engine, tranny, vehicle, is sound and bombproof.
4k Diesel generator (that could power a stick welder) comes standard.
All lights, sirens, air horn, 1 million lumen spotlight, PA system, are all still working. Currently registered as a motor home with tags good till 2021.
Gvw 20,000 lbs
Air ride seats
Air brakes
Air ride rear suspension
Cons:
Roughly .40 amps is being pulled and draining battery if terminals left attached.
Slight flat spots on front tires ( I assume somebody locked up the wheels when braking hard and put flat spots in tires).
This rig has great bones but needs work to be a proper outlander camper. I have many more pics and video of the engine idling.
$15,000
