Vehicle description
If you have been looking for a 914-6 at a reasonable reserve this is the one to buy. What makes this car unique is it is a very original car and an excellent driver. There appear to be few modifications to the car. The car was repainted at some point prior to my purchase in 2013. At some point this car will make a excellent candidate for restoration as, it seems, all the parts are intact. But, at this point the car is in such good shape there is no reason for restoration. In addition, the car has its original interior and a solid un-cracked dashboard and original footrest. The original Becker radio is still in place but a bit of static on the reception. There are no after market speakers or other cutouts in the interior. What I would consider a super bonus is that I have the 4 correct date stamped steel wheels with the "moon" hubcaps. Now the bad. Rust. The car has rust in the usual 4 corners of the car and the "hell hole". The previous owner riveted some small metal patches in the corners. The good news is that the patches are relatively small and when the time comes a simple patch and weld is all that is needed to repair. The underside does not need to be replaced. In my ownership the only work I have had done, Vollig Autowerks, San Diego, Ca., is setting and balancing the carburetors and a replaced $10.00 fuel hose. I am going to add some driving video soon as I figure out how to post. I have been using Dropbox for serious inquires. https:/ youtube.com/shorts/OP3m4SDrLaE?feature=share https:/ youtube.com/shorts/4dMofSHaeoA?feature=shar e https:/ youtube.com/shorts/A6RQ1Kyv4IU?feature=share

Recently, I have sold a 77 930, a 75 930 and 2 Renualt R5"s. I will soon be posting a nice 355 spider, a Alfa 2000GTV and a crazy Kramer 935esque twin turbo Porsche (715 HP). Thanks all. Inspections welcome. Inspect prior to purchase. Winning the bid is not a proxy for inspect and make up your mind later!
