1979 Toyota Celica Supra - 2.6 Liter Inline 6 with a 5spd Manual - 114k Miles Long Term Single family garage kept ownership since new. This rare manual is finished in Red Metallic (Toyota 372 paint code) with Maroon Vinyl (Toyota LJ31 interior code) VIN # MA46-020166 114503 original miles but being listed as TMU due to 5 digit odometer.

A throwback to the early sports touring coupe, this car manages to have all the options including a manual gear box mated to the larger Limited slip rear end. Power is provided by a 2563cc (2.6 Liter) inline 6 which is delivered smoothly and with plenty of torque. The car likes to cruise at 65mph comfortably with more to spare. This 79" Celica Supra came equipped as ordered with Vinyl appointed interior, A/C, Sunroof, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM/FM Stereo, Cruise Control, 5spd Manual Transaxle, and more.
The Exterior of this car is in great shape with some normal imperfections, minor scratches, scuffs, and small chips from regular use. It is a rust free car, fair weather only driver. This car was used mostly to go back and forth from the golf course over the years. There is no rot or rust indicative of seeing a new england winter. The wheels are in good shape, tires are newer with plenty of tread remaining. The undercarriage is in good shape without rot or damage. All of the glass presents as original to the car and is also in good shape. The front grille, bright work, headlight and tail light lenses are all in good condition and free of condensation or damage. The engine bay is neat and orderly, much of of the factory zinc plating is still present and only minor surface corrosion exists which would be considered normal for any car of the era. The interior of the Celica Supra is the crown jewel of the car, with the exception of the arm rest and shifter boot the interior is stunning. The carpets, seat, dash, trim, door panels, headliner, and steering wheel are all in unbelievable condition for the age. All of the switches and knobs in good shape and everything works as it should. The dash has no sun damage or cracking as this car has always been garage kept. The shift boot and armrest have minor wear from use as they are leather but nothing excessive more than dryness and some fading. The carpets are clean and do not have any unusual odors as this Celica Supras ownership was non smoker. The trunk area carpets are nice shape and barely used. The original rubber floormats are also included with the car. There is no rust or corrosion in the spare tire well or trunk area either.
Mechanically the car is 100%, the engine, transmission, clutch, brakes, and suspension are all in good shape. This is one of the smoothest highway and backroad cruising cars I"ve driven in some time. The steering wheel does not shake or vibrate at any speeds, no unusual noises, smoke, or smells. The brake system was serviced a couple of years back with a new master cylinder along with new front calipers and brake pads. The Supra stops well without vibration or noise. Acceleration is smooth and power delivery is solid. Downshifting or up shifting there are no grinds or signs of damage in the syncros of the transmission and the clutch grabs right in the middle of the throw.
