Vehicle Details Chevrolet Chevelle. My friends father bought it new, my friend is 72. His dad ordered it with a bench seat (family of five) Three speed ( had a boat) with factory air. He put $400 down and the car was delivered to Timmer's Chevrolet in Atlanta in 1966. A true all matching numbers engine, tranny, rear end and all the body parts. It might be only a couple ever ordered this way with all the paperwork and numbers to prove it. Body is perfect, one dime size ding on the right front fender, I am certain it can be pulled ( dentless) as the paint is not cracked. The interior is perfect. The only thing not original is he added power steering in the early seventy's.The car was restored frame off in 2016 but had little rust because it was stored in a climate controlled hanger. Old Eastern Airlines pilot that took care of everything he owned. This car is a gem! The car runs like it did in '66. Air blows Ice Cold. Engine was rebuilt in 2016 with 10kish miles. I am not an expert on old cars but it has been my daily driver for the last few months and zero issues. Does not get hot, no leaks, original brakes so it doesn't brake well with 375 HP.
