Outlaw Performance of Avonmore, PA has been a leading supplier of custom fiberglass bodies and considered the best Willys Coupe for hi-dollar builders. This build is a testament to just how well theyve honed their craftsmanship. The cars panels are as flat as . . Kansas, with a shine thats found on only on six-figure hot rods. The Daytona Orange is a perfect choice for this Bad-to-the Bone ride and is a brilliant contrast w/the black full race interior w/orange full-cage safety system. The LED DRL lights are mounted and hidden in the chrome Willys grill.
Chassis
Outlaw body and chassis package was the order of the day this sensational piece was created. Then a Heidts fully polished stainless steel ft. suspension and equipped with modern rack & pinion steering. In the rear is a race prepped Strange Engrg Ford 9 and Yukon Nodular street center section w/4:11 posi. controlled w/Brut 4-link polished and Alden coilovers. Wilwood 13 rotors on 4 wheel drilled disc brakes.
Engine
Early Chrysler Hemi engine is bored 60 over to 400 cu. and mated to Hot Heads cross-over kit and heads. Its fueled by BDS 671 Blower and dual 650 CFM Demon carbs and polished BDS scoop and air cleaners. It has a custom 3 polished stainless steel exhaust, custom rectangular polished side tips w/Flowmaster mufflers; 6AL Mallory ignition system, all together to produce close to 800 streetable HP.
Trans & Misc. It has a TCI Turbo 400 prepped w/TCI 2500 stall converter SF 30SPL # 243105 mated to a Gear Vendor Overdrive system. Vintage A/C and heater unit. Intro Wheels were the custom manufacture of choice for the massive rear 20 X 16 wide wheels and matching 18 X 8 up ft. M/T Pro Sportsmen S/R Radial tires are: Rear 33 X 22.0 X 20 and 18 tread width (Cost $530.ea). Custom [trunk & roll bar fitted] 18 Gal polished aluminum fuel cell w/inside racing fill. Chrome Hurst lock-out shifter. Painless wiring system. Custom Howe radiator and new electric thermo-controlled fan runs 170F. Chrome 100 amp. alternator.
Interior - Black leather Cerullo Racing Seats & matching leather door panels. Autometer Pro-Comp black gauges set-in dash to house the 6 gauges. Chrome Ididit tilt-column and 3-spoke Budnick steering wheel. Custom polished lower panel for switches; Edlebrock electric fuel pump. Custom center consul & OD Trans switches, Optima battery w/Summit shutoff switch. Power windows, Sony remote Explode stereo & doors.
