This is my 2013 Smart Fortwo Pure two-door coupe with very low miles (20,200 miles at present). It"s in excellent used condition. I"m asking only $4,300, which is well below the current estimated retail value of $6,000 found on most car lots nationwide for a Smart Fortwo of this year, mileage and condition. I"m also open to reasonable offers, so don"t be afraid to make one.
The Smart Fortwo is an awesome city car (though you can cruise on the highway if you want, and it"s quiet inside even at 70mph or more), and mine runs, rides and drives great. The car does actually have some pep and can get up to speed, including merging speed on the highway, just fine. Plus, it gets great gas mileage. That makes the Smart Fortwo easy on the wallet or pocketbook when it"s time to fill it up (it has an 8.7 gallon fuel tank that seemingly lasts forever).
To get my Smart Fortwo Pure ready for sale, I"ve just this week had brand-new tires put on it (OEM all-season Kumho P165/60R15s up front and Kumho P175/55R15s in the rear) and my mechanic also installed new front disc brakes (ceramic pads, quality rotors and associated parts) as well. Plus, I had the oil and filter changed at 19,500 miles, along with new front wiper blades installed. Smart car recommended oil change intervals are 10,000 miles. This car needs nothing, in other words, but a new owner.
The car"s stereo system is an aftermarket JVC, model KW-R930BTS that"s satellite radio-ready and which also has Bluetooth and two USB ports. Simply insert a memory stick into one of the two ports and you"re good to go. Both original key fobs are also included.
The exterior color is Crystal White and it has a black interior with full carpeting and leatherette and cloth seats. Both original key fobs are also included.
This car is being sold "AS-IS/WHERE-IS" and no warranties or other guarantees apply. I have a clean, green Michigan title and this two-owner car"s AutoCheck score is an 84 (on a range of 76 to 85). It has normal wear and tear for the years, but nothing out of the ordinary or unusual. For example, there"s a very small and already professionally sealed (by Belle Tire technicians) star in the OEM front windshield glass, down low on the passenger side. It"s not noticeable unless you look for it.
I can also take any photos you might want before considering bidding. If you"re local, I can make my car available for test drives and inspections this week, Monday through Wednesday as well as Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM (I won"t be available on Thanksgiving day) and on Saturday the 30th of November from 8 AM until 12 PM.
Lastly: I"ll accept cashier"s checks for the remaining purchase amount after the deposit, but they must be drawn on a recognized U.S. or Canadian bank (if you"re a Canadian buyer) and they must fully clear my bank - with no problems - before I"ll release the car and the title. This requirement is necessary because of the number of scammers running around out there, unfortunately.
