Vehicle description
1963 Oldsmobile Cutlass F-85 Deluxe, 215 Aluminum V8 Rockette motor. Factory 4-speed on the floor, Borg Warner T-10. This is a one year only body style, and last year for the 215 motor. Runs and drives very well. Motor rebuilt with less than 8000 miles on it, originally an H-code engine (H1425776), has 829 heads on it (581829) with 10.25:1 Compression Ratio. Carter AFB 400 CFM 4-barrel carburetor on it currently, have the original Rochester 4-Jet as a spare. Rear end is C-code with a 3.36:1 ratio.
Repaint is 20 years old, there is some bubbling around the rear top tonneau cover snap trim, some orange peel in the valley between there and the fins, and some bubbles in the lower rear quarters (see last of the photos). Front driver and passenger floor boards have patch panels (see photos). Solid body/frame other than those items mentioned. Interior is white and black, with black seat covers, drivers seat has a tear in the vinyl under it"s cover. Top does need the rear window adjusted over the bow, also have a spare white top to go with it. Power top motor needs a rebuild, have it and a spare motor to go with. Power windows work. Front passenger wing window is cracked (see photos). No stereo included. Would put new tires on before driving too far as they are old. Has NOS front wheel brake cylinders.
