Vehicle description

So Cal Classic Car Storage in Laguna Hills CA is proud to present this beautiful OIds 442 W30 that represents the best-of-the best muscle cars coming out of Detroit at the peak of the Muscle Car era in 1970. Oldsmobile only made 2,574 W30 442s in 1970. She was special ordered with Rally red paint code (WA4007) and the rare 4 speed manual transmission with the Hurst Shifter. Based on the best data available only 10% of the OLDS 442s in 1970 were ordered with a manual trans. She also was ordered with the rear spoiler. This is the real deal Olds 442 W30 4 speed, not a clone. We do not have the build sheet or protecto plate. Her 455 Cubic Inch motor is year correct and built with a higher performance cam ( JM25/28 Engle/Mondello) and her original W30 F heads were ported and flowed along with a valve job in 2001 by Mondello Performance. The numbers matching block comes with the car and can be machined if you prefer it. The original 3.42 Gears and rear end are still in place. The aluminum intake manifold and Quadrajet carburetor are original to the car. There are headers on the car to make for improved performance, but the original exhaust manifolds come with the car as well. The starter was replaced with a high performance mini starter and the spark is provided by a Pertronix electronic ignition but the original distributor is still in the engine. I took this Olds to a highly respected mechanic who is a GM and Chevy expert and he verified every part on this car that is unique to the W30 Olds 442 and all of the numbers match that should to the Vin and to the W30. He verified the correctness of the engine block serial numbers, the rear end, the manual transmission, distributer, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, rear end, heads and carburetor. I can make the mechanic and the numbers on these parts available upon request via phone for anyone who is seriously interested in purchasing the vehicle. What a perfect color combination of Rally Red exterior and Ivory white upholstery to show off the 442"s athletic lines and transport you right back to 1970. The paint is an excellent condition and shows extremely well and so does the interior. She is ready to show at your local car show or attend a local Olds meetup. The engine and transmission works flawlessly and is a blast to drive. The current owner has owned the car in Southern California since 2000 and it has been stored inside since then. He bought it from a gentleman that restored it in 1998 who lives in Kansas City Missouri and showed the car for a brief period of time and won 1st place at the Olds Lone Star Nationals in June of 1999. This gentleman bought it from the previous owner in 1995 who lived in Buellton, California and it is possible that was delivered new in California. We have copies of the titles from both of these previous owners. This is truly a rust free car. Feel free to arrange to have someone inspect the vehicle. This is a real deal Olds 442 W30 4 speed so please do not call to try to convince me otherwise.
