Vehicle description
This is a 1990 Bronco that has spent its life (until my ownership) as a Fire Department fleet vehicle for a couple of local (Southern Oregon) Fire Departments. It is in very solid mechanical condition, with less than 50K on the engine and transmission. 351 Windsor with push button overdrive. I am limited to 18 photos so I will try and describe accurately. There are no leaks. The power locks and windows work, and the back window works from the switch at the dash as well as with the key. Air conditioning works. This truck has all its original Ford glass and complete interior in good condition with no rips. There are a few minor interior flaws, but no rattles or missing/busted parts. The headliner has a little sag. The driver"s door has a tan armrest (mismatched but nice and in very solid condition). Captains chairs with armrests and center console. The seats have quite an interesting fade, but the fabric is strong and clean and I think could be dyed pretty easily but it never bothered me. Some additional courtesy lighting has been installed in the cargo area (shown). This truck still retains the first responder console and some light controllers. All of the wiring is still intact, and the vehicle has a crash bar (LED) mounted on the rear of the cab. It has a Clarion Pro Audio CD deck with remote, but about half the time i have trouble getting it to load and unload a disc.
The paint on this truck has many flaws but shows pretty well. There are no dents and no rust, but there are numerous scratches and chips as shown. "Ten foot paint". The fire department (who used to conduct the fleet maintenance) also was responsible for the paint job. Some holes on the roof from a formerly mounted overhead light bar (shown) were sealed up and have never leaked, so I never wanted to disrupt that. New owner will have to figure that out if its that bothersome. This truck has a front ARB bumper, but it is also possible it could be a Warn bumper. I never did find any markings on it. It has a really nice built-in, fully enclosed box to house the winch, which is not included. The Bronco door hinges and latches are all very solid with no slop.
This truck starts, runs, stops, and drives well. It does not have any weird shakes or rattles, leaks. A K&N FIPK is the only powertrain modification. Ultra type 50 wheels. Toyo tires with deep tread but they are older tires and should probably just be replaced. 6 KYB Gas-A-Just shocks. Undercarriage is in very clean original condition with no issues, some light surface rust in areas as clearly shown; and no flaws or questionable stuff all painted over. This truck has an ambulance pack/auxiliary battery system which needs a new battery. The winch controls run through this system, as does all of the auxiliary lighting and the keyless entry/remote system. I have never had a use for any of those things, so I never changed the battery or did any fiddling with that side of things. I replaced the Die Hard engine/starting battery last winter.
I have the original set of OEM Ford wagon wheels that will also be included with this truck.
I encourage any prospective bidders to come and inspect this vehicle, but no on-road test drives as this is an active auction. Bring your mechanic along or send them over *before* you bid. Also happy to answer whatever questions I can for you (again; *before* you bid, just message me.
If you live in Oregon, the tags on this truck are transferable and still good until 2023. This Bronco has a clean and clear Oregon title in seller"s name with no liens, no brands, and no markings. This vehicle is located in Grants Pass, Oregon, about ten minutes from Interstate 5.
A non-refundable $500 deposit will be due via paypal within 24 hours of this auction closing. Final payment and pickup is due within 7 days of auction closing.
If it will not be possible for the buyer to pickup in person and requires transport; I am happy to work with your shipper, and will allow some flexibility here as to pickup (know who your shipper will be and message me before bidding). Final payment still due within 7 days of auction closing.
This auction starts at $.99. My reserve price is very reasonable, and quite a bit less than what comparable Broncos have sold for on recently.
Your bid is a contract. Please understand and respect this. I have successfully bought and sold multiple vehicles, campers, and a boat too on ebay in my twenty plus years here. My feedback speaks for itself.
